Frequently Asked Questions about Slow Burn™ Strength Training
Every day at my studio clients bombard me with intelligent and challenging questions. Here are a few of the most frequently asked. I try to formulate all of my answers using science and clinical evidence rather than opinion. Each of the answers below is based on both valid scientific research and on my 15 years of clinical experience.
Unfortunately, the field of exercise science lags behind clinical discoveries – and very often the scientific research itself is poorly performed. This can sometimes be worse than providing information that is of no value to the lay public, but at times it can lead to disseminating misleading and dangerous information (remember high impact aerobics and those silly machines that shook your belly to get rid of fat?).
